On the August long weekend, we had no plans and were dealing with a very busy work schedule…but we desperately wanted to do something active and fun. We used Zufall for a short day trip we could do before my man had to go back to work.

We rolled the N/4 Our Blue dice minimum was 5 minutes then headed 20 minutes north…perfect! We left ended up in a park in Belcarra after following the road to Buntzen Lake.

We thought we would have to settle for a hike like we always do, until we spotted the kayak rental hut. We ended up kayaking up and down the Indian Arm for a few hours, which was amazing on such a beautifully sunny day.

Without giving in to Zufall, we never would have ended up at the belcarra park where we found the kayaks…so random, yet so fun.
